About Maria

Hello! I'm a college graduate who majored in psychology, and took specific courses, such as lifespan psychology, to get more knowledge on child development! I'm currently a Behavioral Technician and have months of experience working with kiddos on the autism spectrum. I am currently working on a 40 hour training on behavioral courses to advance to my certification in behavioral therapy. So I am adaptable to any behavior and can help provide regulation skills if needed. Before starting my courses, I helped family and friends by babysitting their kiddos for 2 years. I love helping children express themselves through fun activities, and I love creating learning opportunities fun for them to engage. I also value their opinions and make sure they are heard at all times. Ultimately coming from a psychological aspect, I prioritize how their experiences shape their development, and I make sure I can provide the most beneficial care to ensure the best outcomes in their development.
