About Maria

Hi, my name is María. I live with my husband and two children, ages 7 and 12. I have been in the U. S. for three years. I have 3 years of experience caring for children from newborns to 11 years old. I am patient, caring, and creative. I speak Spanish and I am currently studying English and childcare. I can understand a lot of English and use short phrases, but I am not yet fluent. I am also a mother, which has given me strong experience with children's needs. I enjoy games, outdoor activities, puzzles, and crafts. I can care for up to 3 children and help with meals, light cleaning, and swimming supervision. I have my own transportation and am comfortable with pets. I am CPR certified, have a food handling certificate, and am vaccinated (COVID-19, hepatitis A & B, varicella). I can take a TB test if needed.
