About Maria

I would describe my personality as responsible, caring, and energetic. I enjoy working with kids because I like their energy and helping them feel safe and comfortable. I have experience caring for younger children in my family and am used to balancing responsibilities with school. I take pride in being someone families can rely on and trust. I started working with kids in 9th grade as a volunteer at a church summer camp. The following summer, I worked at a daycare, where I gained hands-on experience caring for and supervising children. In my spare time, I enjoy doing nails, practicing Muay Thai and jiu-jitsu, and spending time with family and friends. These activities have helped me build patience, discipline, and attention to detail.
