About Maria

Hi there! I am a certified special education and elementary teacher based in Washington DC. I am passionate about making learning fun and getting to the root of confusion for deeper understanding. I have taught across preschool through sixth grades, helping students will a wide range of needs and abilities thrive academically. I also have a knack for language and am available to tutor early Italian, early Russian, and early to advanced French languages! I am especially passionate about working with students with disabilities or learning differences to help them love learning and meet their goals. I am also available to help families understand the Special Education process and prepare for IEP meetings! I hope to hear from you soon!!
