We feel incredibly fortunate to have found Maria D. The care, patience, and compassion she has shown my mom throughout her journey with dementia have meant more to our family than I can put into words. She consistently goes above and beyond what is expected of her. More importantly, it is clear that this isn’t simply a job to her. She genuinely cares about my mom as a person and treats her with kindness, dignity, patience, and respect, even on the more difficult days. She is also a wonderful communicator, always keeping me updated on how my mom is doing and regularly sending pictures, which means so much when I can’t be there myself. I would wholeheartedly recommend her to any family looking for a caregiver who not only provides exceptional care, but truly has a heart for the people she cares for.
