About Maria

Working with children is something I genuinely love. I have experience caring for children from 8 months to 5 years old. I am a medical doctor, graduated in my home country. My medical background gives me additional knowledge that helps me understand children's needs, and respond appropriately in an emergency. I love creating a daily routine with a good balance of outdoor and indoor activities. I enjoy going to parks, libraries, museums, playgrounds, and other fun places, as well as doing activities at home such as painting, reading and active play. I am a strong swimmer and can provide attentive supervision around water. I speak English and Spanish. Clear and direct communication with parents is very important to me. I value keeping parents informed, following their parenting preferences and routines, and working together to make sure their children feel happy, safe, and supported.
