About Maria

Nurturing young minds is a true passion of mine. For three years, I've had the joy of caring for children and fostering their development. My graduate degree and Early Child Development coursework provide a solid foundation, and I reinforce that with a creative and imaginative approach. I enjoy engaging kids with outdoor sports and physical games! I am comfortable caring for two children at a time and readily enforce household rules. I communicate with parents through written daily reports. I am also happy to help with cooking and meal preparation. I am certified in CPR and First Aid, have my own car, and am comfortable with pets. Speaking both English and Portuguese allows me to connect with a wider range of families. I believe that every child deserves a safe, loving, and stimulating environment to thrive, and I hope to provide that for your family.
