About Maria

I'd describe my personality as friendly, respectful, helpful. I like working with kids when they figure out something for the first time the joy on their faces makes me smile. I'm looking for a job that allows me to work decent hours. I want a job that I can feel satisfaction knowing I am helping young ones grow. I started working with kids unprofessionally since I was 10 years old but when I was 16 I was a live in nanny to my cousin. I worked as a noon aide when I was 19, I was a reading interventionist for 2nd-5th graders when I was 34. I also worked in fast food as a manager to some teenagers. I currently work as a pre-k teacher assistant and help in all the lower rooms 4 years-0 months. In my spare time, I like to travel, hike, read, paint, watching movies/tv and play with my dogs. One thing you should know about me is I have a love for children I always have. One day I would like to start a family of my own. My skills include soothing, creative activities and reading.
