In June of 2018, I was stressed out and upset when searching for a caregiver for my aging mother (then 83) and her husband (then 87). Their wishes were to remain in their home, but they needed daily support from the minute they woke up until they went to sleep. I was beyond lucky to connect with Bea, who cared for them for three and a half years until my mother's recent passing. She's extremely compassionate, completely trustworthy, very organized, and has an infectious joyful personality. Bea took on the responsibility of administering medications, preparing and feeding meals, assisting in bathing and dressing, and driving them to doctor appointments when needed. Every time I went to the house, I'd find my mother and her husband well taken care of and happily engaged with her. Bea became my mother's best friend. In the weeks leading up to my mother's death, Bea was the one who understood her every unspoken need, and who was there for her in a way my family and I couldn't be.
