About Maria

I am a recent college graduate with 2 years of childcare experience. I previously worked as a teacher's aide under the supervision of 1st and 4th grade teachers during the COVID-19 pandemic, where I administered health and safety regulations, set up planned activities and assisted students with assignments. I also completed a quarter-long Early Childhood Development course at UC Davis, where I learned about the developmental needs of children at different ages and gained hands-on experience working one-on-one with transitional kindergarten (TK) and 1st grade students. Additionally, I served as a youth instructor, teaching biblical theology, and creating a supportive learning environment to children ages 8-12. I am caring, dependable, attentive, and energetic, with a strong commitment to providing compassionate care. I aim to support the physical and emotional well-being of those under my care while treating every family with patience, kindness, and respect.
