About Maria
I have always loved working with children. I started volunteering at an Elementary school tutoring children. I babysat a couple months old baby all the way to the age of 3. I have also taught preschool aged children for an after school program. During my internship I worked with children of special needs as my BA is in Occupational Therapy. I am currently trying to get into grad school and once I'm in the program I plan to focus on working in early intervention. Therefore, I am trying to get more experience working with children. I enjoy both indoor and outdoor activities with children. I am very creative and I am self-driven. I want to expand on my skills and knowledge and be able to help children.
