Hello my name is Maggie. I have 12 years of experience in childcare. I took a couple Courses in child development. I have volunteered in day care centers and have worked in community centers, running camps and after school programs. I have plenty experience with working with multiple kids. I plan age appropriate activities like, arts and crafts, learning activities, out door play, reading and much more. For the last 6 years I have been working as a nanny on and off. I'm currently a stay at home mom with two children. Now that one of my kids is going to school full time I am looking into getting back in to nannying. I have worked in the past as a nanny and have had the opportunity to take my children with me. Im optimistic that I will find a position like this again. Maggie has been our 1-year-old's nanny for 5 months and is above and beyond the best nanny we have ever had... or expected to have! She is kind, gentle, and caring with our toddler. She has a lot of experience and always has great suggestions. A main highlight for us as parents is that she never shamed or spent time on negative behavior, instead redirects and stays positive and loving, which is a big attribute for us when looking for care. She redirects situations and is full of wonderful projects and adventures for our Lil girl. Maggie also took care of our handicapped dog and accomplished a good portion of the housework every day. We just adore her and are sad to see her go, but understand that her new job offers more flexibility for her family's needs. We would rehire her in a heartbeat and will take date-night sitting if possible.
