About Margaret

Hi! I am Maggie and I love caring for children! Nurturing children comes naturally to me. I have been working with children for the past 16 years. For 11 years, I was a k-2 teacher in Manatee County Schools and a substitute before that. I value family, community, learning, and the environment. As a nanny and caregiver I am able to work with children and still teach, but without all the added stressors of a full time teacher. I tutor math as well. I have 2 teenage daughters ages 13 and 16, and they are amazing! I really enjoy spending time with them and our puppy Millie! Supporting families and making a positive impact on children's lives is what I strive for, and I'd love to bring my experience and enthusiasm to your family. I am happy to help with part time and recurring nanny/child care roles, weekend babysitting jobs, dog sitting, errand running, and cooking. Anything for kids, pets, and home!
