About Margaret

I volunteered at a local retirement home, where I spent time engaging with elderly residents through conversations, games, and organized activities. My role involved providing companionship, helping with recreational events, and assisting residents with small daily tasks like reading or writing letters. I made it a priority to listen to their stories and show kindness and patience in every interaction. This experience helped me develop stronger communication skills, greater empathy, and a deeper appreciation for the wisdom and experiences of older generations. It was a meaningful opportunity to give back to the community and build genuine connections!
