About Margaret

Hi! I'm Maggie! I'm a fun-loving Montessorian with 10 years of childcare experience. I've worked as a preschool teacher for the last 5 years and as a nanny before then and during summers. I am currently pursuing a degree in Psychology and have an Associate's degree with a focus in Early Childhood Education. I also have a Lead Montessori Infant/Toddler Guide certification from the North American Montessori Center and a Preschool Director certification from the state of Texas, as well as up-to-date pediatric CPR and first aid certifications. I am a volunteer Guardian ad Litem for CASA of Travis County, where I advocate in the court system for children who have experienced abuse. Outside of work and school, I love to spend time with my dog and cat, Rocco and Kuzco, yoga, live music, and staying active. I'm a very sociable and positive person who is passionate about the Montessori philosophy and child advocacy, and I would love to work with a family that has similar values. :)
