Hi! I'm Abby, and I'd love to share a little about myself. I'm a licensed early childhood educator and Montessori teacher with a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from CSU. I also graduated from the Montessori Education Center of the Rockies (MECR). I spent several years working as a lead toddler guide at a local Montessori preschool but have transitioned away from full-time teaching the last few years to become a nanny as I pursue a path in somatic therapy. I view early childhood as an incredibly special and important season of life and one that deserves deep respect. These early years are when we build the foundation for trust, safety, and connection. I recognize what a privilege it is to support children during this stage, and I strive to show up each day with patience, presence, and intention. We have been so incredibly lucky to have Abby caring for our two young daughters part-time since November (nearly 7 months). She is truly amazing—kind, patient, and so thoughtful with our girls. She has a calm, nurturing presence that immediately put us at ease, and it’s clear how much she genuinely cares about the children she works with. One of the biggest testaments to how exceptional she is is the level of trust we have in her. I never thought I’d feel comfortable having someone take my children out on her own, but with her I absolutely do. She takes them on engaging outings to places like the Discovery Museum, the library, gardens, and local parks, and I always feel completely confident that my girls are safe, happy, and well cared for. We would truly keep her on forever if we could, but I am transitioning to being a stay-at-home mom, which is the only reason our time with her is coming to an end. Any family would be so lucky to have her, and I cannot recommend her highly enough.
