I'm a natural helper and a firm believer that it DOES take a village. Being from a big family is an experience I'm grateful for -- I became an excellent teacher, listener, and supporter. I enjoy working with kids because they're always growing and changing, and I find satisfaction in nurturing. Talking to kids in a way that honors their intelligence and whimsy is a strength of mine. In my spare time, I like to ride my bike, do yoga, study the latest research in the psychology field (I have a psych degree, btw!), and making hats. My skills include emotional regulation modeling/coaching, subject matter expertise in child development, complex problem solving, and safe adventuring.
