About Grace

Hi there! I'm Grace, a childcare worker, musician and visual artist. I have been working with kids for over 10 years now, starting as a teenager. Since then I've done full time nannying, part time babysitting, afterschool programs and a series of art workshops. This fall, I'll be continuing with the same nanny job I've had since 2020, which will change from full time summer care to after-school only, so I'll be looking for morning/early afternoon hours. Starting in January, I'll be doing a 4 month artist residency at the library. At that time, I'll need to nanny less. My ideal situation would be working for a family that needs a temporary person for the fall semester. I approach the children in my care from a place of empathy, curiosity and respect. My goal is to foster meaningful connection with kids and families through trust-building and emotional attentiveness. I am vaccinated/committed to following CDC guidelines.
