About Maren

I have experience working with and alongside many different age groups. I have worked at a summer camp for years with children ages 4-14. This required much problem solving, critical thinking, and leadership skills. I have also worked as a catering attendant. Here I set up and took down events, and served people at events ranging from 20-500 people. I have also cared for my grandpa. Doing this I provided compassionate daily care for my him, assisting with personal needs, mobility, and medication reminders. I am basic life support and CPR certified. I love gaining new experiences and working with different people. I want to use my skills of leadership, problem solving, critical thinking, empathy, and teaching to work as a personal care assistant. I have a great love of helping others and creating a joyful environment where that may be lacking. I hope to work somewhere where I can really make a difference and enhance my skills.
