About Marcia

I'm a PhD student in Human Development and Social Policy at Northwestern University with more than 12+ of experience supporting children, adolescents, and young adults as an educator and nanny. My approach combines research-informed instruction with highly individualized support. I help students build strong academic foundations, strengthen critical thinking skills, and develop the confidence to tackle increasingly complex challenges independently. Rather than focusing solely on grades or memorization, I teach students how to learn effectively, think analytically, and apply concepts across contexts. I work with learners of all ages and abilities, including gifted and neurodivergent students. My goal is to foster academic excellence, intellectual curiosity, and long-term success.
