About Elena

Hi! I'm Elena, a recent Master's graduate in International Relations, offering tutoring for elementary and middle school students in Chicago this summer. I've been tutoring since middle school, helping students build confidence in English and Math. Having struggled academically when I was younger, I understand that every child learns differently. My goal is to make learning enjoyable, build confidence, and help students reach their full potential. I'm patient, curious, and empathetic, and I tailor my teaching to each student's individual learning style. Rather than simply giving answers, I focus on helping students understand concepts, think independently, and develop lasting problem-solving skills. I believe every child can succeed with the right support, encouragement, and approach.
