I am a good companion for the elderly that doesn't care to be alone while family members are away. I sit for a elderly woman now who can't get around by herself. She is somewhat self-sufficient but needs help most of the time. She is capable of taking her own meds and can prepare a small snack if need be. She just doesn't like to stay home by herself in the evening. That's where I come in. I also sit for a gentleman who has Alzheimer's Syndrome. I have to feed him and give him his meds, but he takes care of his personals right now, but if he becomes incapacitated he would need a professional care person. I am not certified, so I would need a position that would not require one. Also, I worked at a day care. I was the cook, so I don't mind nanny work as well.
