I assess the scholars unique learning style by observing how they engage with new material, then adapt my methods using visual aids, discussions, or hands-on activities. I keep sessions engaging by connecting complex concepts to personal interests and celebrating every small success along the way. Open communication with both the scholar and their parents is essential to my process, ensuring we stay aligned on selected goals. I find it incredibly rewarding to witness breakthroughs, such as helping a scholar move from a second-grade reading level to a fifth-grade level within one academic year.
