About Marcela

Dear parents, nice to meet you! I'm Marcela. I've been a babysitter for about 10 years now. My experience includes live-in, live-out, occasional jobs, and even tutoring. In the last decade I've had the pleasure of caring for mostly newborns and toddlers, although some of them have grown up are in grade school now. On occasion, I have also taken care of preteens and teens, who mostly needed me for cooking, supervision, and driving. As a babysitter, I am loving and fun, as well as very perceptive of children's emotional and physical needs. I believe in teaching youngsters to be independent and to believe in themselves. I also believe in teaching children to be polite, and to know right from wrong. I never give them a rule without a reason. When I say no, I want them to understand why. In my experience this approach fosters trust and encourages positive behavior. I look forward to meeting your family!
