About Marbod

Hi, I'm Marbod. I'm 23, and a College graduate of Tisch's Film & Television program. I grew up in France, the UK, and the US, moving between different languages, cultures, and educational systems. That taught me early that people learn in very different ways. I'm good at reframing difficult ideas, finding the explanation that makes something click, and helping students understand not just what something means, but why it matters. My strongest subjects are French and writing. French is my native language and one I still work and consume media in daily, so I can teach both formal French and the language as it is actually spoken and understood culturally. I'm also fluent in English, German, and Spanish. As a writer, I'm especially strong at structuring arguments, essays, and complex ideas, as well as creative writing. I've taught acting to ages 10-18, rugby to ages 6-13, and currently teach languages online to children ages 4-12.
