About Maranda

Hello! I have a long history of child care as I have been babysitting since I was a teenager and then I went to work in the education field for 8 years now. Along with working in schools, I have cared for children for different families over the summers, school breaks and on occasions for date nights and events. Mostly toddlers and elementary aged children. I have cared for children in their homes, around the home, such as parks. I know how to be creative and keep them productive during the day as well as helping with bedtime routines at night. I have worked in various roles with different ages in schools such as being a paraprofessional for a kindergarten class, a literacy tutor, and a summer school instructor for elementary aged students. In all my roles, child care is biggest part. I kept the classroom tidy, managed behavior, monitored the children at recess, took them on field trips, etc. Ensuring the child or children I'm with is safe and happy is my top priority.
