About Manuel

Hi! My name is Manuel but everybody calls me Manny. I am from Orange, CA. I have had experience in personal assisting, and being a butler and house manager back on the east coast. However, when I moved here in California I started care giving because of my educational background (I have a four year bachelor's of science degree in pre-med and went to medical school for one year). As time went on, it became something more and beyond that. I did not just become involved with the physical aspect of each of my patient but also with their mental, social, and emotional well being. I started to play a role of not just their caregiver but also their chauffeur, houseman, butler, trainer, life coach, personal assistant, friend, family, and their cook, which I love doing since I came from a family who loves to eat and cook and married to a chef. Making everyday special for my patients has always been my goal. I understand the needs of each family that I work with--I have been there. I don't just simply care, I become a part of them. I have handled several patients ranging from Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's/dementia, hospice, cancer, and old age. I customize care plans that fit my patients' needs and lifestyle. I take pride in the fact that the family has entrusted their loved ones to me, not just because of my qualifications and what I'm capable of doing but mainly because of the trust and respect I have earned. I have excellent references and a clean driving and background history.
