Hi I'm Mandi! I've been working with kids for the last 25 years off and on at various places throughout champaign-urbana. I've spent time as a Early education preschool teacher, at Head Start, numerous daycare centers around town, and also worked with children with autism and other disabilities. I spent time working with the elderly as a care coordinator. I'm truly passionate about providing quality child care and believe that I have the education, experience and heart. I am fun, patient, energetic , hard working, creative, resourceful, honest, playful and no matter what your child throws at me.... I've probably dealt with it before! Or else I will have an idea! My schedule is somewhat flexible although I prefer mornings . I LOVE animals. I prefer to stay busy and hate being on the phone. I also have a ton of TOYS!!! and educational materials. We were very fortunate to have Mandi care for our baby from 6 to 10 months of age. She is incredibly reliable, capable, and genuinely loving toward children. From the very beginning, she treated our baby with so much care and affection, and it was clear every day how much she truly loved and enjoyed spending time with him. She was extremely engaged and interactive — always playing, reading, and finding ways to support our baby’s development. She even brought many toys, books, and clothes for our baby without us ever asking, which showed how thoughtful and generous she is. One of the things we appreciated most was how confidently and smoothly she helped transition our baby from milk-only feeds to purees and early solids. She was patient, attentive, and very knowledgeable throughout the process. Every morning, our baby would light up with excitement when she arrived, which says everything about the bond they built together. We always felt reassured knowing our baby was in such caring and capable hands. We truly loved having her as part of our family and would highly recommend her to any family looking for a trustworthy, nurturing, and dedicated nanny.
