About Mallory

I am currently a nursing student at College of Saint Mary, and I'm working on obtaining my BSN. I have experience working as a CNA in both the professional and private setting. I worked as a nurses aid within the Methodist health system for a little over a year on their rehab unit. During this time I learned how to care for patients of all ages (but mainly elderly) in assisting with their ADL's. I have also had the opportunity to be a care taker twice, working privately through their families. I assisted one of the women I cared for with every day tasks such as ADL's, house keeping, and rehabilitative exercises. The other women I currently care for suffers from dementia, and I worked over night to ensure she is safe while assisting with any needs she may have.
