About Maliya

Hello! My name is Maliya. I am a 20-year-old student. I am a surf coach for kids, an employee for a science education org, a babysitter and pet sitter. I love working with kids because of the creativity and playfulness they bring to my life. I am trained as an EMT, as well as CPR and first aid certified. I love to play sports, facilitate art projects, read, go on walks and hikes with kids. Through my job, I assist kids with writing, math and science skills. Through both organizations I teach surf with, I have had the opportunity to work with special needs children in the water. I am ready to assist and accommodate to the specific needs of your child in any way I can, and I understand that patience is a crucial skills when working with children. I am a confident cook and cleaner. I have a Prius that I can use to drive your children to any activities or appointments. I am excited to meet you and work to make your family's life as easy as I can.
