About Malia

Bringing joy and nurturing young minds is my passion. My journey into childcare began with positive experiences babysitting and has since been enhanced by teaching and tutoring children of all ages. I have three years of experience caring for one child at a time. My approach is creative, friendly, and grounded. I communicate with parents using their preferred method, providing regular updates via text, phone, or in person at pickup. I readily enforce household rules in my own style. I enjoy playing educational games, board games, and outdoor sports with children. I have taken Early Child Development Coursework and I am trained in First Aid and CPR. I can assist with cooking, meal preparation, and swimming supervision. Continuing my education in graduate school has provided me with additional insights into child development.
