About Malia

I'm a passionate and bilingual tutor (English & Spanish) with years of experience helping students from 1st grade through high school succeed academically. I started tutoring in high school and later worked professionally with Huntington Learning Center and One On One Learning. I specialize in phonics, elementary and middle school math, algebra, language arts, and ACT/SAT prep. I'm known for my patience, adaptability, and ability to connect with students of all ages and learning styles. I tailor each session to meet the student's unique needs-whether that means using visual aids, step-by-step instruction, or real-world examples. My goal is to make learning approachable, build confidence, and help students develop strong study skills that last beyond the classroom. I believe in creating a positive, supportive environment where every student feels encouraged to grow and succeed.
