I am a certified early childhood teacher, looking to turn full time nanny. Through my 5 years in college, I was a full time nanny for 2 families, and on call babysitter for multiple families. My nanny experience was with primarily newborns and early toddlers ages 1-3. However, I specialize in ages newborn age 5, as I currently teach and have taught kindergarten and first grade. These needs and developmental stages are what I have primary experience in. I would ensure that the child is well taken care of, kept to the families routines and needs. I am willing and capable to do the following but not limited to: general housekeeping, day to day chores, run in-town errands, shop for and/or pick up groceries, ensure dietary needs and medications are kept to consistency, and if appropriate to age, provide introduction to school skills such as phonics, phonemic awareness, fine motor skills practice, and necessary skills such as name writing, memory practice through games, etc.
