About Malakai

Hi! I'm Kai, a social work student with experience supporting young children in educational settings. I currently work as a kindergarten instructional assistant, where I help students with early learning skills, emotional regulation, classroom routines, and individualized support. I have experience working with children with diverse learning and developmental needs, including neurodivergent students. I offer patient, encouraging, and personalized tutoring for Pre-K through early elementary students, focusing on building confidence while making learning fun and engaging. I can help with early reading, letter recognition, sight words, handwriting, beginning math, school readiness skills, and homework support. I'm CPR and First Aid certified, dependable, and passionate about helping children learn and grow at their own pace.
