About Makiyah

Hi there! I'm Makiyah, and working with kids is truly the best part of my day. For the past 2. 5 years, I've been at Texas Scottish Rite for Children, helping kids of all cognitive and physical abilities grow stronger, more confident, and have fun through therapy sessions ranging from ages as few weeks old to 20yo. I also coached in the Adaptive Bridge Program, where I guided groups of 4-7 amazing kids at a time ages ranging from 7-19-so I'm no stranger to juggling energy, personalities, and lots of smiles at once! On top of that, I've spent 3 years babysitting children ages 5-16, whether that means homework help, playing outside, or coming up with creative activities to keep everyone engaged. Families describe me as warm, dependable, and fun to be around. My goal is simple: to create a safe, loving space where your kids feel happy and cared for (and where you feel total peace of mind).
