About Makiah

I have two years of experience working as a cook at a senior living center, where I not only prepared nutritious meals but also took pride in creating comforting dishes that brought joy to the residents' days. I also had the privilege of providing one-on-one care for a senior in their 90s with dementia, offering companionship, emotional support, and overnight care. These experiences allowed me to form meaningful connections, develop patience and empathy, and gain a heartfelt understanding of the unique needs, stories, and joys of older adults.
