About Makenna

Hi! I am a middle school Science teacher in my second year of teaching. I am passionate about music, nature, and art, and I am always looking for new creative hobbies to pick up. As a teacher, I've perfected my communication skills and patience, making me proficient at understanding and meeting individual needs. From lesson planning to personal care routines, I'm organized and attentive to detail. I babysat for two years in high school, and have taken my students on numerous field trips and some overnight excursions. Since I have the summers off, I am looking to find extra work, and seeking opportunities to further develop my childcare skills.
