Hi , my names Makena and I am student who graduated from SFSU in December. I am looking for a family whose availability and values match mine who I can start with at the end of August . I'm reliable, fun, and great with kids. For many years now I have worked with and around kids of all ages (infant-12). Some useful things to know about me: I have previously taught pre-k for two years , I have about 8 years experience and have provided childcare for five families through care. com (I have worked with most of them for a year+), I am up to date on immunizations, CPR trained/ first aid (I am willing to re-certify ) , have a bachelors degree in early childhood education, along side my child development certificate. My passion for nannying stems from great relationships I have built with past families & from my love of teaching. This role to me is more than just child care and I am confident in the high quality care I can provide I do offer weekend care if informed 2 weeks in advance :)

Makena has been working for our family for about 2 years. She started just after our younger child was born and has been wonderful with kids 4 months to 6 years old. She has a great background in childhood development and is really attentive to helping kids communicate and regulate their emotions. She did nannying and mothers helper work for our family. She has been incredibly flexible and a wonderful asset to our family. We would keep working with her forever if we could. We recommend her without reservations!
