About Makeda

I'm a patient, organized, and encouraging tutor who believes every student can succeed with the right support. I hold a B. A. in French and Middle Eastern Studies and a PMP certification, with 12+ years of experience in international program management. As a former Program Director, I've helped learners of all ages build confidence, study habits, and a genuine love of learning. I meet students where they are, tailor lessons to their needs, and focus on deep understanding and critical thinking over rote memorization. Specialties: study skills, English writing and reading comprehension, French (beginner to advanced), elementary and middle school math, life skills (sewing, cooking, budgeting), and guidance for college, trade school, or test prep.
