About Makayla

Hello, my name is Makayla! I graduated high school a year early, and I've been working in early childhood education ever since! I am now 20 and have been working in daycares for over 2 years. I am known for being dependable, hardworking, and assisting in transitional periods! I have been a primary teacher for both infants and toddlers but I have worked and trained with ages Infants-5 years old! Qualifications: -CPR/First Aid certified (with training specific to infants and toddlers) -Safe Sleep Educated -Trained in early childhood development and curriculum! -No degrees but a few courses! History: -I apprenticed at a downtown STL daycare for about a month before I turned 18 -I worked at a daycare in Columbia, IL for a year and a half where I did all of the essential trainings like CPR/First Aid, development, etc. -I currently work at a daycare in South County as a lead teacher and am willing to work in Missouri, though I'd love to work in the Belleville/Fairview Heights/Shiloh areas
