About Makayla

I'm passionate about supporting children's growth and creating a positive, engaging environment where they can learn and thrive. I have 5 years of experience caring for children from infancy to 12+ years old and bring a patient, creative, and attentive approach to childcare. I'm currently entering my fourth year of college and have First Aid and CPR certification, along with early childhood development coursework. I am seeking summer-only childcare opportunities and am available during that time. I'm comfortable caring for up to two children and enjoy planning activities such as outdoor play, sports, board games, puzzles, and creative projects. I can also assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, crafts, and swimming supervision, as I am a certified lifeguard and lifeguard instructor. I prioritize safety, consistency, and clear communication with parents, and my goal is to provide dependable, attentive care for families over the summer.
