About Makayla

I'd describe my personality as responsible and empathetic. I'm looking for a job where the parents have great communication with me about the needs of their child so that I can take care of them in the best manner. I completed a babysitting program which allowed me to become CPR certified, and have experience with caring for children ages 2-13. I continued to babysit throughout high school. In the summer I work as an art teacher for children ages 3-12. I also work as a morning and night time care giver for children whose parents worked long hours. I am able to complete any household chores while taking care of the kids if needed. I am also willing to be flexible if I need to take the kids to any events or appointments. My skills include working with children who have special needs or mental struggles, helping children with basic mathematic and reading skills levels Pre K - 9th grade. I am mostly based in Freehold, NJ.
