As a teacher with experience of teaching in early childcare and experience inside a classroom, I strive to create an engaging, supportive, and patient learning environment for each student. Holding a graduate degree, I specialize in elementary school Math, English, Special Education, and Study Skills. I vary my teaching strategies, such as using visual aids, hands-on activities, discussions, and practice problems, to best suit individual learning styles. I celebrate small successes and provide consistent positive reinforcement to keep students motivated. Open dialogue allows me to adapt my approach for optimal student outcomes. The most rewarding aspect of being a tutor is helping a student achieve a significant academic goal. I am comfortable tutoring online or at the library. I have reliable transportation in the evening and I'm comfortable with pets. I'm excited to use my skills to help your child reach their full potential!
