About Janan

Hi! My name is Janan, and I am a licensed Integrated Science teacher for grades 7-12 with a Bachelor's degree in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. I currently teach Honors biology and AP Biology and am an AP-certified educator with experience in helping students of all learning styles succeed. While science is my specialty, I also tutor Algebra and enjoy helping students build confidence in their problem-solving skills. My goal is to help students truly understand concepts rather than memorize information. Teaching is something I genuinely love because I enjoy seeing students make connections, overcome challenges, and gain confidence in their abilities. Whether a student needs help improving grades, preparing for an exam, completing homework, or building study skills, I strive to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment where they feel conformable asking questions and growing as learners.
