About Makayla

Hi! I'm Makayla, a caring and creative caregiver with 5 years of experience working with children from infancy through elementary school. I'm CPR and First Aid certified, and I've helped with everything from morning routines and homework to bedtime stories and weekend adventures. I'm currently a Preschool teacher at The Academy of Lovejoy. My approach is warm and structured - I love mixing imaginative play with learning, and I always make safety a priority. I believe in creating a positive, fun, and nurturing environment where kids can grow and explore. When I'm not with kids, I enjoy reading, spending time with my daughter , and doing different diy activities. I'm available weekday afternoons/nights as well as weekend afternoons/ nights.
