About Makaila

Hi families! I'm Makaila, a 23-year-old JMU graduate and a third-year teacher in the Richmond area. With experience teaching Kindergarten through 3rd grade and over 10 years in childcare, I'm looking for summer opportunities to support local families while school is out! I specialize in creating structured, nurturing environments where kids stay active and engaged. Whether you need a summer nanny for crafts and outdoor play or a personalized tutor for grades Pre-K-4, I love helping children grow. I have a clean driving record and am fully certified in CPR, AED, and Epi-Pen administration. Availability: I'm available from June 2nd through August 1st (including weekends as needed), excluding a few pre-planned vacation dates.
