About Makaela

Empowering students to find joy in discovery is at the heart of my teaching practice. With three years of experience, I hold a graduate degree and specialize in music instruction for learners of all ages, from elementary school through college. I prioritize building confidence over rote memorization, creating a patient and supportive environment where you feel comfortable exploring new concepts. I adapt my methods to your unique learning style by incorporating visual aids, hands-on activities, and interactive discussions. Because I value clear communication, I provide regular progress updates to ensure we are meeting your specific goals. I love celebrating your small successes and fostering a genuine curiosity that makes mastering an instrument an enjoyable journey. Whether we are working in your home or tackling complex techniques, I am dedicated to helping you reach your full potential. I look forward to helping you find your unique voice through music.
