About Mairin

I'm eager to help students unlock their potential. I have one year of experience tutoring elementary, middle, and high school students. I hold some college experience and am familiar with student accommodation plans (504). I adapt my teaching methods by encouraging open communication about what works best for each student. I keep students motivated through interactive discussions that encourage curiosity and critical thinking. Communication is essential for understanding student needs and setting clear expectations. I can provide tutoring at a student's home, center, online, library, community center, school, or coffee shop. I can help with math, English, science, test preparation, and more. Seeing students grasp concepts they once struggled with is very rewarding, especially since I experienced similar academic challenges. I would love to help you or your student succeed!
