About Maire

For the past 10 years, I have been helping students unlock their full potential. I hold a graduate degree and am a certified teacher, experienced in Individualized Education Programs (IEP). My teaching philosophy centers on creating an engaging, supportive, and patient learning environment where students feel empowered to succeed. I adapt my teaching methods to suit individual learning styles through varied strategies, open communication, and regular feedback. I keep students motivated by celebrating successes, breaking down complex problems, and encouraging curiosity. Communication is key, and I prioritize building trust through regular updates. The most rewarding aspect of tutoring is witnessing that "aha!" moment when a student truly understands a concept. I am ready to help your student in Math, English, Science, Special Education, and Study Skills. I am also CPR trained and have First Aid certification.
