About Katie

Experience: 1 yr

I have a bachelors degree in Applied Mathematics from Boston University, and a graduate degree in MIS from the University of Oklahoma. I have experience tutoring students from elementary school to college in math. I actively listen to and observe students to understand their individual learning styles, while also encouraging open communication and regular parental check-ins. We celebrate small successes, break down complex problems, and foster curiosity. Seeing a student's confidence grow is the most rewarding aspect of tutoring. I have a car and am comfortable with pets. I look forward to meeting new students!
